Actually the law of attraction is nothing new – it is simply one of the better known universal
laws. In simple language, it implies that we get whatever we attract. But to be an achiever, we
must always attract positive thoughts; we must attract positive thinking people in our lives,
too. According to the law of attraction, when we begin to attract negative thoughts, the
results may also be negative as a consequence.
What does the law of attraction mean for the home business entrepreneur?
Many a money making businesses owners have taken the conscious
decision of not taking up a job and have opted to work from home. And there are quite a few who
have even left their full time jobs to start a home business. This is why they need to be
supremely confident and they should always stay positive. If you have started a work from home
business, you must know that you can make it a success and so you should keep the faith. Keep
believing in your abilities, stay positive and motivated and good things are bound to happen.
As the entrepreneur, when you yourself begin to have negative thoughts, then your thoughts are

Although the law of attraction may sound simple, making the law of attraction work on a
conscious level may need some amount of self training. Our biggest problem lies in our age-old
beliefs that revolve around negative ideas and a fear of the unknown. But for those who are
bold enough to conquer the fear of the unknown, the universe bows down before them. The law of
attraction works in a positive way for them.
The appropriate application of the law of attraction involves three basic issues that comprise
(a) Asking (what you want). Unless this is clearly known or assessed, the desired object can
hardly be delivered to you.
(b) Believing (in what you are asking). This is quite significant since your firm belief in
what your goal is paves the way towards delivering the goods.
(c) Receiving or reaching (your goal) whenever opportunity comes your way. Vacillating at that
crucial hour can be disastrous since opportune moments hit a person only once in life.
As you can see, all the above three factors of the law of attraction are a part of our thought
processes that are manifest in actions like asking, believing, receiving, etc. Now, the law of
attraction also includes controlling those thought processes that are basically tiny pulses of
energy.
As we engage ourselves with our thoughts and let them out of our system, these pulses of energy
travel around the universe, gathers positive or negative forces and recoils back to us with
much bigger force. If we think in terms of harming a person, the tiny speck of energy picks up
far more harmful energies en route and comes back to us with more harmful episodes. Thus runs
an old Chinese axiom, “The fire that burns in your heart for somebody else, burns you more”.
Similarly, a positive thinking for a person will come back with far more impact than what it
originally was made of. This is why the law of attraction asks a person to remain
positive.

OBJECTIVE: Quantify manual wheelchair propulsion effort during outdoor community ambulation. DESIGN: Case series. SUBJECTS: Thirteen individuals (12 with SCI, 1 with spina bifida) who were experienced manual wheelchair users and had no current upper extremity injury or pain complaints. METHODS: Measurements were obtained from instrumented wheelchair rims during steady-state propulsion as subjects traversed outdoor concrete sidewalk terrain that included smooth level, aggregate level, and a ramp with a smooth surface. Propulsion effort was assessed using the average propulsion moment, average instantaneous power, and work for both upper extremities. RESULTS: Propulsion effort, captured by the propulsion moment, work and power, varied across ground conditions (p<0.001). Propulsion effort was greater as the rolling resistance increased (i.e., smooth versus aggregate surfaces) and as the inclination angle progressed from level to inclined surfaces. There were no side-to-side differences across ground conditions for the propulsion moment or work. power wheelchairs and www.easymedonline.com generation was significantly greater on the dominant compared to the non-dominant extremity during the more challenging aggregate surface and ramp conditions. BACKGROUND/OBJECTIVE: Reliable assessment of upper extremity anaerobic power in persons with cervical spinal cord injury (SCI) may indicate the ability to successfully and safely perform many daily activities. PURPOSE: To examine test-retest reliability of upper extremity Wingate anaerobic testing (WAnT) in persons with motor/sensory complete tetraplegia. METHODS: Forty-five persons with cervical-level SCI (15 individuals each at C5, C6, and C7 levels of injury) performed 2-arm WAnT bouts, with 2 to 4 days between bouts. Subjects performed the WAnT seated in their medicare power wheelchairs and medical scooters using a tabletop-mounted Monarch 834E ergometer. Resistance loads were applied relative to injury level, with 1%, 2%, and 3% of body mass applied to subjects with C5, C6, and C7 level injuries, respectively. All subjects were directed to crank the ergometer at maximal velocity for a 30-second period. Values of peak power (Ppeak) and mean power (Pmean) were determined using an SMI OptoSensor 2000 system. Ppeak and Pmean were compared between trials and between groups using 2-way analyses of variance for repeated measures. Coefficients of determination (r2) were calculated between trials. RESULTS: There were no significant differences in Ppeak or Pmean detected between the 2 trials of WAnT in the C5, C6, or C7 groups. Regression analyses revealed statistically significant associations between bouts for Pmean and Ppeak in each of the 3 groups (P < 0.05). CONCLUSIONS: Upper extremity WAnT is reliable for upper extremity anaerobic power assessment in persons with cervical SCI at or below the C5 level.

Average per item spending ranged from $52 for canes to $6,208 for power wheelchairs and handicap scooters. Among beneficiaries who acquired such technology through the DME benefit, these devices comprised just 2 percent of overall Medicare spending.

OBJECTIVE: To characterize the use of power wheelchairs and to determine if multiple measures of mobility and occupancy jointly provide a more comprehensive picture of wheelchair usage and daily activity in full-time power wheelchairs users than daily distance alone. DESIGN: Prospective observational study. SETTING: Subjects’ everyday mobility was measured in their homes and communities for 2 weeks, and prompted recall interviews were conducted by phone. PARTICIPANTS: A convenience sample (N=25) of nonambulatory, full-time power wheelchair users. INTERVENTIONS: Not applicable. MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES: Wheelchair usage was logged electronically, and geolocation and interview data were used to isolate chair use to (1) in the home, (2) not in the home indoors, or (3) outdoors. Distance wheeled, time spent wheeling, number of bouts, time spent in the wheelchair, and the percentage of time in the wheelchair spent wheeling were measured to describe wheelchair use. RESULTS: The median wheelchair user spent 10.6 hours (range, 5.0-16.6h) in his/her wheelchair daily and wheeled 1.085 km (range, 0.238-10.585 km) over 58 minutes (range, 16-173 min) and 110 bouts (range, 36-282 bouts). Wheelchair use varied across subjects, within subjects from day to day, and between environments. www.easymedonline.com bouts outdoors were longer and faster than those wheeled indoors. In a regression analysis, distance wheeled explained only 33% of the variation in the number of bouts and 75% in the time spent wheeling. CONCLUSIONS: Power wheelchair use varies widely both within and between users. Measuring distance, time, and number of bouts provides a clearer picture of mobility patterns than measuring distance alone, whereas occupancy helps to measure wheelchair function in daily activities
